Most domestic Alarms are fitted in a day, with minimal mess and disruption. Doors are protected with magnetic contacts and windows can be fitted with vibration sensors which also detect breaking glass. This is classed as 'perimeter security'. Within the property motion sensors are fitted into various rooms to detect the movement of any intruder.

The System is then controlled by a neat keypad fitted near to the main entry/exit door. A four digit changeable code is then used to set and unset the System. An internal sounder also informs you of any problems whilst arming the System.

An external Sounder is fitted to the property ( usually at the front ) to attract attention if activated. This NSS Alarms Sounder incorporates twin strobes, with alternating LED's, making it extremely difficult to ignore and very high-profile.  A dummy sounder is usually fitted at the rear of the property.
